Sara Shotton
- Senior Aerobic

Mackarell
- Level 1
Sara was trained at the Elliott Clarke school of Dance and Drama and worked extensively as a professional dancer
travelling all over the world with many renowned choreographers, until settling in the UK in 1990.
With many years experience in television and theatre Sara chose to specialise in fitness and became a personal trainer in
1997.
She founded the club in 1999 and is now the only Senior qualified aerobic coach in the NW She is also responsible for the
training and development of all the gymnasts and coaches in the area today. She gained her International Brevet
qualification in 2009 and judges both here and abroad.
Sara works as a lecturer in BTEC sport at Southport college and as well as her work within the club she also delivers
Aerobics in the local community where she has developed links with all of the local primary and secondary schools to
further raise the profile of the sport.
Sara was recognised as British gymnastics 'Coach of the Year' in 2009 for her commitment and dedication to developing the
sport with special consideration given for the coach programme which has seen more than 20 young people qualify as
coaches and judges.
Sara is married with 3 children and a baby granddaughter

Rea is currently studying dance at JMU , a former Aerobic competitor she has been responsible for the development of the
novice and junior squad for over 2 years.
Rea is a talented coach and choreographer whose remarkable skills make her a natural with young children As well as her
work in the club Rea also works in the community delivering sessions in the local primaries to further develop the sport,
she also teaches dance to children. Rea travelled to Austria as a squad coach 2009 and competed with the demo dance
team in Holland in 2006
Rea is also a Qualified club judge and Zumba teacher

Keshia Santos
- Level 2

Keshia is a former Aerobic competitor and now a qualified level 2 coach and club judge. Keshia has had an extensive dance
and drama background over the last 10 years making her an ideal person to pass on her skills and knowledge to others.
Keshia is a talented choreographer who loves to work with both the novice and elite members of the club. Keshia travelled to
Holland in 2006 to compete in the demo dance team and to France[ 2009] and Austria [ 2009,2010] as coach to the squad.
Although she has recently had her first child she is desperate to get back in the gym!

Rachel Bromilow
- Level 1
Rachel is a former FIG competitor and was with the club when it started back in 1999. Her love of the sport has seen her
come back to the club to coach the next generation of competitors.
Rachel trained in artistic gymnastics and dance before specialising in Aerobics in 1999, from there she competed in the trio
and individual categories before hanging up her trainers in 2008. She has travelled to compete in Holland in the dance
team[ 2006] and as coach to the first squad who competed in Austria in 2007.

Heather Dalton
- Level 1
Heather was also with the club when it began in 1999 and is a former artistic gymnast and FIG aerobic competitor.
Although she left the club to pursue a career her passion has always been aerobics and she now wants to help and
encourage other young gymnasts. Heather is a skilful gymnast whose natural ability is an inspiration to many of the
young members of the club.
Janet Reid
- Level 2
Janet comes from a dance background and also trained at the Elliott-Clarke school , she worked al over the world as a
professional dancer before settling in the UK to have a family.
Janet is now working for Wigan council as a specialist in delivering programmes in the community designed to combat
obesity. She is a qualified fitness instructor and first aider
Janet is also a club judge and Level 2 coach
